This unit focused on the different methodologies for language learning and their defining characteristics. The lesson touched on the pros and cons of each of these methods. In addition, the unit also covered teaching in an ESA format and how to execute each stage of the ESA format.The unit served as a very broad introduction to teaching business English. As a high level overview, it was sufficient. However, for me the information was too basic. On another note, I feel testing me on where in the course I would find specific information feels a bit puerile.The content of this unit was useful in that it refreshed my grammatical knowledge. I also enabled me to explain how each grammatical term is used, in this case, all the past tenses. I also found this type of quiz a very good and clear method to use in class for grammar revision.
