I enjoyed learning practical information about managing a classroom. The specific details were helpful e.g. things to consider when setting up a classroom. I find it interesting to know how the teacher can create more of an intimate environment and how they can reduce teacher talk and increase student enjoyment and participation.This unit was really interesting to me, I liked that I was able to see two different examples of teaching. It was good to know how the attitude of the teacher can affect the classroom positively and negatively. This unit also showed me how the use of a simple smile and slower speech can encourage students to participate actively.
