This unit was helpful in that it explained the advantages and disadvantages to different types of classroom materials and provided some insight into how to use them in the classroom. The test was also helpful because it reinforced the boomerang style ESA strategy so that I will be able to more easily apply it in a classroom setting.I found this unit to be the most difficult so far. There is a lot of thought that needs to go into learning how to teach pronunciation. This unit focused on this, it looked at some strategies that could be helpful in this endeavour. It also looked at the phonemic alphabet which is quite complicated, but will prove incredibly useful.
