This unit covers how to teach the listening siills and reading skills. I have difficulty in teaching listening and teaching. On page 5 there was the information how to apply patchwork strcture to the class. Oh I am very impressed. I had a good idea from this. Now I will teach the students the authentic reading and listenng materials.This unit was a bit more complicated for me. I did learn a lot, such as the different specialist skills explained in the unit. When to use non-authentic texts as to when to use authentic texts was a new concept for me, one that I would have liked to be able to question a bit more as I'm not 100% sure about the use of authentic texts.
