I think this unit give a basic and general idea of how to go about teaching new languages. I could see how it can be hard because of the similarities at time. I found the methods to engage student good ideas. This unit didn't have to much to it. Mainly felt like repetition from previous units.This unit was rather dull but helped me understand that importance of test taking. It also made me aware of the different levels of tests that are available to determine placement and or level of understanding. I was never aware of the different type of courses one could take as in ielts etcs.The tenses are truly difficult. I can not remember when i learned these in school but it was certainly in my later years of schooling. I do not completely understand why people need to know this in such depth. But there are people out there that thrive on knowledge and how much they can learn.
