It's very easy to get tripped up with verb tenses. I found the questions very challenging in the sense of recalling and matching the correct label to the verb form in question. I correlate this difficulty with verb tenses with the progressive simplification of the English language, both in oral and written communications, over the last few decades since I last formally learned English grammar in junior high school. This mirrors the gradual degradation of my handwriting skills over the years. I used to have beautiful handwriting in junior high school, and I always received compliments on it. Now, my handwriting is barely legible (thanks to computers and the rarefaction of hand-written communications, save for filling out the occasional paper form). Even in the present-day business environment in America, nobody uses even half of all the available English verb tenses (much less, all 12 of them) even in the course of a year! Virtually all native English speakers have forgotten the formal rules of verb tenses and even their names, and they would be hard pressed to name a handful (much less all 12) of them, never mind spitting back the rules and usages of each form without looking it up.
