In this lesson we can the overview of some materials previously learned during the basic Tesol\\Tefl course, but with some new materials regarding the specifics of teaching business English to adult learners, like what types of activities there are and what problems may the adult students cause.After having struggled a bit I managed to grasp the difference between the past form and the past perfect form, all thanks to the helpful tasks in this unit's task sheet. I really appreciate to have the opportunity to practice with the tasks in the task sheet before moving on to the actual test.Another useful topic to recap on grammar - conditionals and reported speech. I learned about the 5 main conditionals, namely zero, first, second, third and mixed. I also recapped on reported speech and direct speech and liked the teaching ideas media interviews, role-plays and reporting verbs.
