Unit 17 is about equipment and teaching aids. In this modern era, there seems to be more and more effective teaching aids that can help the teaching process in the classroom. Some of them are whiteboard, interactive white board, OHP, cassette, CD/DVD player, photocopier, computer, worksheets, dictionaries, video camera, resource books, and online resources. The unit discusses the advantages, disadvantages, as well as the basic principles about how to use each of the teaching aids effectively. I personally think that the list of resource books is really useful to dig more into English language. There are so many links that I can use from this unit to help my students learning English.
