This unit offered quite a few great consideration questions to ask oneself prior to making the plunge to taking on a teaching position in another country. Many teachers do not take the time to do this and get caught in sticky situations with their contracts, or even with cultural differences at their schools. This unit offered helpful samples of resumes and cover letters, that many of my former TEFL classmates, including myself, had trouble initially creating. I think it's incredibly important to recognize the proper mannerisms and cultural no no's of the country you're working in as mentioned in the reading to not embarrass yourself, or worse, offend your colleagues and co-teachers.
