This lesson gave us the opportunity to observe first hand the teaching methods, ESA structure, and lesson planning we learned in previous courses. It also gave us the opportunity to observe different student teacher dynamics, and really underscored how teacher-student relationships and the specific behaviors of the teacher can make an enormous difference in the success of a lesson. It is important to note that the activities and material covered in both lessons was the same, but by simply following a clearer outline, taking greater care to create a positive environment, and addressing his students with increased clarity, the concepts seemed to resound more with the teacher's students.
