This unit provides a strong foundation upon the things that most essential to teaching: the teacher and the learners. The topics covered in this unit ? the roles of a teacher, the ability levels of learners, and qualities that make a successful learner ? are of utmost importance, for if a teacher does not assume the correct role at the correct time, or if a learner does not feel motivated or able to complete the tasks, any lesson will be at a great detriment. From this unit, I have learned what roles I may have to assume as a teacher and when, and I have also learned to recognize factors that may attribute to a learner being successful, such as level of ability or motivation
