This unit was helpful and practical. I enjoyed reading about how teachers can build rapport on their first day because that first impression is very important. That first day is also important for the teacher to learn where the students are in their language skills and learn about the students and who they are. I also liked how the unit covered what teachers can do when the class is large, when students are hesitant to talk, when students have hard time listening to the words, and when there are students at different levels. I think it?s important for the teacher to know that these situations will happen and to be prepared when it happens.
