This unit was challenging to learn especially the phrasal verbs which had three basic types of verbs intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable. I also learned about the modal auxiliary verbs and how there are different ways of using them to get the across. Students can use the modal auxiliary words to be formal or informal, or use them for a request or obligation and many others. Students could also choose between an active voice or a passive voice to get their message across. Passive voice is more focused on the subject while the active voice is more focused on the doer while the passive voice is more focused on the object.
