This unit introduced specific groups that teachers might come across in their career when teaching English. Students could range from a very young to older age and depending on their experience, they could be set at different levels of understanding the English language. Groups could also very from large classes, to one on one, or even business groups. Each of these groups have a different purpose for taking a course in English. Whether it is because they are forced to take the class for school or business requirement, or they are voluntarily seeking out to take lessons, the teacher must be aware of the students level of understanding and goals.
