I liked this unit because I think it touches on a practical part of teaching in a classroom, particularly in areas that may not be accessible to a workbook for every student. It allowed you to think of supplementing a course book with authentic material and adjust lessons based on the students. Overall, I was happy with this unit and its varied examples.In this lesson methodology and techniques for teaching were discussed. I learned new ways to teach students and to help further their learning abilities. I also learned how not to teach a student and what will hinder their learning growth. I learned the Engage Study and Activate approach and it's different forms such the boomerang and the patchwork form.
