In this unit I learned appropriate ways to teach listening and reading skills in an effective way. It also broke down the different ways and techniques in which we read, depending on our goal. I was introduced to more examples of the ESA structure, how to plan lessons and carry them out in order to teach reading and listening as effectively as possible.Unit 10 was exciting and unique compared to the other units. It showed two videos of a real life classroom setting. It was helpful to see all the theoretical lesson planning and classroom management skills acted out by a real teacher with real students. Also, it was educational to see an example of a well taught lesson contrasted with a poorly taught one.
