I believe teaching new vocabulary is a very important aspect of teaching a new language. I have to fight with administration most of the time at my school for special vocabulary classes, especially for beginner level students. This lesson reaffirms my belief in the importance of vocabulary. This lesson also helped to review the class management structures.This unit was all about the materials that come along with a class/course. It provides advice as to what to look for in a course book, such as price, methodology, supportive materials, teacher's guide, etc. This unit also discusses the pros and cons of authentic material and created material. Both are relatively easy to access and can be very beneficial.
