There are seven most common tenses used with future meaning. They are ; future simple, future continuous ,future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going+ infinitive, present simple, present continuous. The future simple takes the form of will/shall. It is used for promises , predictions, assumptions, spontaneous decisions and threats. The future continuous uses the form( will+ be+verb +ing ).It is used to say something will be in progress at a particular time. It also predicts ,polite enquiries and future events. The future perfect also uses the form(will +have+ past participle). It is used to say that something will have been done, completed or achieved by a certain time in the future. The future perfect continuous uses the form (will +have+ been+ verb+ ing ).We use the future perfect continuous to say how long something will have continued or by a certain time. Be going+ infinitive(going to future) uses the verb \"to be\" in the present plus going to ,plus base form of verb. It is used for intentions ,predictions and plans. The present simple takes the form of the present simple tense. It is used for suggestion, timetables and schedules, to suggest a more impersonal tone. Present continuous also takes the form of present simple tenses. It is used for definite arrangements, decisions and plans without a time frame. I learned that forms 5 and 7(be going+ infinitive and the present continuous) are the most frequently used tenses.
