This chapter outlines the different ways we can express something in future tense. I learnt that present simple and present continuous forms could both be used in the context of expressing something happening in the future. Apart from those two unique forms, the other main forms of future tense are future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and the ?going to? future. I learnt that the primary difference between future simple and the ?going to? future tense is that the former can be used to make predictions without evidence and spontaneous decisions while the latter is used for predictions with evidence as well as plans and intentions.
