This unit was entitled 'equipment and teaching aids'. It went into detail regarding a variety of different aids that teachers can now use in the classroom. When you see it written down, it makes you realise just how many aids there are and the different ways in which they can be incorporated into a single lesson. Using these aids and designed materials with them can be time-consuming but those materials will last a long time, especially when digitally sorted, which makes the process worthwhile. A few aids, such as the cassette recorder, are a little out of date now but you never know where you will end up teaching and what resources will be available to you so it's still helpful to know.
