In this unit we observed how a teacher taught a lesson in two different ways. In the first lesson we see a teacher that comes off as cold, unapproachable, and demeaning. The students struggle with the lesson and are afraid to participate. The teacher has difficulty explaining instructions and the students therefor cannot complete activities correctly. In the second lesson we see that the teacher's demeanor is warm and friendly. His students are active participants and seem to enjoy the lesson. The teacher helps correct students in subtle ways and is encouraging. The teacher provides multiple ways of explaining concepts and instructions ensuring that students understand what is happening.
