Having no prior teaching education, I found this unit to be almost entirely new information - some of which seemed irrelevant to me. This unit took nearly twice as long as the previous two, however, I didn't feel it was particularly helpful for the amount of time it took to read through the Unit. I found the video to be far more useful in explaining the origins and applications of the different methods. The activity lists are a good resource which I'm sure I'll reference again. Overall, I understand that there is no perfect method and that the best teachers are aware of what is working and what isn't - often through trial and error - and are willing/able to change methods accordingly.
