This unit covered the different type of specialized groups: beginners, individual students, children, English for specific purposes, and monolingual and multilingual class. Each section discusses each group into more detail, giving an overview of what to expect, pros and cons and teaching techniques. From this unit, it has let me understand how to accommodate my lessons towards the specialized group. The teaching ideas were very useful as it provided me a variety of ways I can incorporate into my lessons. I have also learned the differences between each type of classes and helped me gain a broader perspective of what type of class I wish to teach.
