This unit provided a lot of helpful information about what lesson planning looks like using the Engage-Study-Activate format. The examples of lesson plans and activities to be used within those lesson plans will be very helpful to refer back to when forming a lesson plan of my own. I think that this unit will be one of the most practically helpful units to refer back to when in a position of teaching. I think that the flexibility of the lesson plan is most important because it would prevent your lesson from becoming robotic or rigid and would allow for unexpected learning opportunities to be acted upon and incorporated into the lesson for the day.
