This unit, the video unit, was extremely useful. It's so helpful to be able to watch a teacher in action using the concepts from previous studied units. I think that through these videos I've gained a better understanding of how to engage students in a way that will make them feel comfortable about participating, even if their answer may not be the one we're looking for. These videos make me want to work hard in developing a great class atmosphere because the way in which the teacher conducted himself in the first lesson made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I want my classroom to be a classroom where students enjoy the lessons and feel motivated.
