The suggestions given in this unit for teaching a class with students of various ability levels were quite helpful. As a language student myself, I have been a part of classes where student levels were quite varied, and I saw the challenges this presented to the teacher. I thought the suggestion to cater to differing student levels within the class was helpful. It's difficult to maintain a balance, so that some students do not feel bored while others feel overwhelmed. However, by being perceptive of student differences, and targeting different needs with slightly different materials or approaches, there is a better chance of satisfying all students.
