This unit explained in great detail how to use conditionals and reported speech. These are both concepts I had never contemplated before as an English speaker. I understand how difficult they could be to non-English speakers and took notes of all the teaching ideas provided in this unit. The direct speech exercises were challenging to work through as there are a variety of ways one could express the same idea. Some more obviously incorrect than others but some were a little more challenging to break down. This was by far one of the most insightful units in the course as it taught me a lot about English grammar and rules that I had no experience with.
