This was a really interesting lesson. There could be an entire course taught on how to teach each of the major special groups mentioned in this lesson. I was surprised though that student with disabilities and refugees were not mentioned. I had got the idea that special groups meant students with unique circumstances. Nonetheless, there were a lot of good points made about teaching business English students. For example, we do not need to know much about business to teach business English. I agree that this is largely due to the fact that the students don't expect to learn about business from us and that most business English is just regular English.
