This unit covers modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice, phrasal verbs and relative clauses. Reading the overview of usage and the differences between modal auxiliary verbs was helpful, and I am planning on keeping it on hand for future reference. Giving students different scenarios with different questions would be a fun activity. I?m planning on using the grouped sentences for practice and role-play. Distinguishing between phrasal verbs was not as easy for me. This made me think how to make it easier for English language learners. However, I realize that it is the usage students need to know and understand with practice and not necessarily the grammatical terms associated with it.
