In this unit there was two different video examples of lessons, one was an effective lesson and the other was not effective. In the second lesson, the good example, the teacher started the class with a smile and introduced himself then asked for the students names. This way of beginning a class leads to the teacher having a better rapport with the students, leaving the students feeling more comfortable and ready to learn. Then throughout the second lesson the teacher was nice and explained what was happening with plenty of examples, so the students weren't confused. These are only two of the many examples why teaching a class like lesson example number two is more effective than the first.
