Evaluation is very important in the classroom. Students need to know how they have improved over time. Recently I was asked to tutor two boys, I was told that they were level two ( the same level as one of my students) as a result, I created a similar worksheet which was suitable for level two students. To my surprise, the worksheet was too difficult and I had to omit parts of the worksheet. This unit helped me to understand that students need to be evaluated properly before we can teach them. I also learnt that there are many types of test that I could utilise. I hope that in the future, I can be better prepared and evaulte my students properly before we begin the class. Thank you.
