In this unit, we covered assessments for prior to a course's beginning and examinations for the all levels as well as the creation of the course syllabus. Working in a school district, many of the more general sections of this unit were things I was at least somewhat familiar with. However, when delving into the forms of testing specific to these courses of study, from the level testing, and needs assessment, to the specific examinations such as the CYLE family of exams, these were areas that I benefited from greatly. For future reference, however, material should be present in the lesson proper. Testing based on material only referenced in the task sheets will throw many students off track.
