This unit is focused on how to plan a lesson and what to focus on when planning it. First of all we have to take into consideration the learners objective: what do we what the students to be able to do by the end of the lesson? We also have to bear in mind the language we are focusing on (useful also for the future lesson plans); then what kind of teaching aids we have (always control that they work and keep them ready for the start of the lesson). An important point is to divide the lesson in the three phases: Engage, Study and Activity: plan how long each activity is expected to take. Of course we always have to be flexible and adapt to the lesson and the class. A lesson can never be rigid.
