While there are many types of teachers/teaching styles, the most important thing in this role is to engage your students and pass on your desire for the subject to the students. Specifically as an English teacher, make sure you are patient, entertaining, and a good role model for students when they are learning the language, as you may be the only exposure to the language that they have. Also, as a teacher, be aware of what level your students are at so you can better cater to them so they can understand and also, don't get bored with things they may already know if they are at a higher level of speaking and understanding. As a teacher, I believe I am an organizer, facilitator, and monitor.
