This unit was a brief overview of what can be expected from this young learner's course. I found 3 sections to be beneficial in this unit. First, all the acronyms that were shown and explained was helpful. There are numerous ones and it is useful to have a sheet that explains them all at once. Secondly, I found the basic age range to be an asset to know as I continue through the units. Understanding the age range assists in thinking of about their knowledge base, how to plan lessons and their prior understanding base. Lastly, the explanation of prospects in this field is very informative as I look to the future and where/what I can do with my certification & additional young learning training.
