This unit covered teaching aids needed by ESL teachers. I found it important to know that capitalized words are to be avoided. Furthermore, I enjoyed learning about all of the different types of tools I can use in the classroom. OHP's are quite useful but also I recall having not seen them in ages. The idea of spending too much time on IWBs was also valuable to note because I could see myself engaging with the technology without attending to the time and energy it may demand. Finally, the resources online for free and the mention of dictionaries invaluable assistance was significant; I enjoyed the emphasis on English dictionaries explaining the words as more effective for the learning process.
