It should come as no surprise that \"Unit 15: Evaluation and Testing\" is the least fun part of the course so far. I am not a fan of standardized testing, but what this particular lesson does reveal is that teachers are often just as unenthusiastic about administering exams as students are when they have to take them. However, there is no denying that applying diagnostic tests, placement tests, progress tests, and practice tests is unequivocally the most effective way to gauge a student's progress. Therefore, it is up to the teacher to create a stimulating learning environment in which the students feel as little pressure possible to retain the information just for the sake of passing an exam.
