Unit nine was about lesson planning: the functions of lesson planning, the principles, a general guideline for how to be prepared for your lesson (such as making sure equipment works prior to class), recommended things to include in a lesson plan, as well as an example lesson plan for reference and a blank lesson plan for use. The unit also included the suggestion to evaluate your lessons for efficiency with a chart for evaluation, and covered what to keep in mind when planning a sequence of lessons. By studying this general guide for lesson planning I learned how to effectively plan a flexible lesson by following basic rules like \"keep it simple\" and \"anticipate the timing for each activity\".
