This unit focused on maintaining a healthy and productive classroom environment. The unit contained many different examples of an effective classroom and how to achieve this. Effective seating arrangements, good eye contact, and establishing a rapport with the students are all beneficial in running an effective classroom. There was also a very helpful section on classroom discipline, in which behavior is the central focus, rather than the students themselves. There were many tips on how to establish dominance in the classroom, while also making students feel comfortable. I have learned many tips on classroom confidence, as well as maintaining a comfortable and respectful rapport with the students.
