I believe the example games provided in this unit are a great way to start off a lesson, no matter what level of of understanding. All you have to do is perhaps increase the level of difficulty of the game. Just like too much correcting a lower level student can have an effect of loss of motivation, too much correcting a student of a higher level can also cause that student who perhaps happens to feel confident of his level of English skills to develop of negativity towards teacher/class. I believe games are always a great way to break the ice and get students feeling comfortable and confident. No matter what the age or level, all people like to hear compliments/praise when learning something new.
