This lesson gave a clear understanding of what a good and bad lesson looks like. I was able to follow this unit well and see what is expected of a teacher who teaches ESL students. The first lesson gave me great examples of what not to do and why. After viewing video two I could see the difference and importance of why the teacher learned the students names. It was very effective and created a great learning environment. I could see the importance of praising the students as it motivated the students to continue trying to answer questions. I really thought the pair work was an effective method that the students seemed to enjoy doing as it did not stress the students to do work the teacher requested.
