This unit covered the types of evaluation and testing that teachers can give their students, and also the available types of certifications (such as TOEIC, IELTS, and so on. Before starting this unit, I was aware of the big English proficiency exams such as TOEIC and IELTs, but I wasn?t aware that Cambridge provided numerous different exams. Also in this unit was how teachers could continue to evaluate their students and how to use those results to improve their lessons. The unit made a point about students evaluating the course they are taking, but I feel this unit should have touched upon student-student evaluation. Seeing students in my classes evaluate each other is also good motivation for them, so I would like to see this being touched upon in the future.
