I discovered how important it is for a teacher to be prepared with materials and a useful textbook. It is also important for a teacher to review the information inside the textbook before teaching it to the students. That way, the teacher can decide if the textbook lesson is suitable for their students or not. If it is not, the teacher can create their own material to replace the textbook lesson. However, even if the lesson is suitable for students, the teacher can still create some material to go along with the textbook. On occasion, authentic material could also help students. Anything from the real world could be used, depending on students skill and interests. This can interest students as they will see their language skill become useful in the world they live in.
