During this unit I learned about what makes a good teacher and what makes a good learner. When reading about the different types of teaching roles in the classroom, I found that it will be important to me to consistently manage and improve the class so that each student learns the material. I will work on organizing the lessons in a way that students can work together and receive help if needed. I plan to teach young children English, so learning about the different levels of advancement was very necessary for me. Currently, I teach beginner and pre-intermediate levels where we focus on reading and sounding out the letters. I look forward to teaching more advanced levels so that I can work with the students on sentence structure and comprehension of the English language.
