This unit covered techniques for teaching special groups, including beginners, young learners and Business English classes. Also covered were positive and negative aspects of teaching students individually, along with the advantages and disadvantages of monolingual vs. multilingual classes. I felt that the content concerning beginners and young learners was somewhat redundant, as it had already been covered in earlier units. However, I found the Business English section to be quite interesting, as was the section on monolingual and multilingual classes. Both of these sections helped me to consider how my teaching methods would vary depending on the type of class I end up teaching, which should help me to be more prepared for a variety of teaching scenarios in the future.
