This unit has made me more excited about teaching English. It is filled with great ideas for lesson planning and great points of guidance for helping students grow in each section of the lesson. Reviewing the many different methodologies of English teaching highlights important aspects to be included in the classroom and also helps broaden my ideas for how to run the classroom; from these methodologies and theories I can incorporate other styles of teaching that I have not encountered in my life as a student or in my time with other teachers. The breakdown of engage-study-activate also helps me understand how best to prepare my students for the day --by engaging with a warm-up game-- and practice what we've learned -- the \"activate\" portion after having done our \"study.\"
