Overall, I got a sense that teaching again requires flexibility and creativity. The section in this unit that describes working with younger children does a great job on highlighting things that are in the control of the teacher, but also out of the control of the teacher. In order to create a sustainable teaching approach, it is crucial like this unit highlights to understand what is in the control of the teacher and not. Also, I am interested in volunteering at Hanawon's (Centers for North Korean defectors) where I might be teaching students with a range of ages. I will really be employing the lessons I've learned in this unit during those moments.
