Summary The key objective of this unit was about understanding the fundamentals of how to plan a lesson. The key components of planning a lesson were how to make it simple, flexible, clear and concise. The major points should include the learner objectives, my personal aims and the language point of the lesson. I learnt being organised is very important, not just so you can deal with any problems that may arise but to make sure you keep a strong rapport with students. Monitoring your lessons and having a self evaluation and feedback will help me grow as a teacher and gain confidence through trial and error so i don?t end up repeating mistakes.
