Sometimes we, as teachers learn that no matter home much we prepare for the class and for the new students, and follow all the directions, if we teach in a different country to a non natives, it is largely depend on a students' performance and their desire in learning. I can speak a lot, or give many activities, but if the student isn't focused and desires to study, it won't settle in his/her head much. Thats when we find time to make the bridge to the student personally. Their background of course also largely depend on their performance. Everything is so useful.
