This unit is about how to effectively manage a classroom. Classroom management begins as soon as you arrive to the classroom as a teacher, as does any professional, is expected to arrive early and be prepared. As a teacher, one must use gesture, eye contact, and voice to control a class. There are different seating arrangements which have different benefits; however ultimately the arrangement that will be used depends on the class being taught as there are several factors to be considered. Discipline is a needed part of being a teacher and one must remain consistent with all students and follow school policy. It is paramount to never lose your temper.
